As inspiration to get started on my branding project i looked into other peoples self branding to see what things these have created and how far you can take it.
A logo, stamp, business cards, letter head, note book with personalised paper and also a note pad has been created which are all the same design or variations of the same design that has been applied to different colour backgrounds.
An embosser, business cards, design books, advice slip, poster and letter head has been creating using the simple black and white colour scheme. The branding use a quote the is cleverly represent using the embosser to create an interesting concept. So you dont actually need a logo just a good concept the is easily recognisable.
A note book, logo, app, business card, letter head, recipe and note paper has been created for this branding the used the same colour logo, dark blue, on three different colour background , giving the branding a variety of look but all are still recognisable.
A logo, letter head, note paper and business card where created for this simplistic branding that embosses the logo into the paper so it is subtle and not the most obvious thing on the page, this is a nice profession touch.
Other branding projects that i liked -
Geometric self branding styles-
colourful and playful
simplistic and sophisticated
From looking at these branding projects i think my choice of things to create is a good selection as there is a variety of things that all work together, but could be placed and used separately. I think using things the include a mixture of my logo and work that i produce will work well as it will promote my instagram as well as showing people the kind of things that is on there before they go look. I think the most effective design are where the logo is transferable into any colour and works well on many different colour back ground so there is no limitations of where it can be placed and also transformed in the future.
