The york minster is a historical church that i visited this weekend, i have great interest in architecture and this church is a piece of architectural beauty with its large stain glass windows. The shapes that the glass makes are geometric in nature which is similar to my style of work. The out side of the church is just as interesting as the insides architectural design as its bodes the same geometric shapes that i enjoy with its straight lines and perfect curves of its windows, another intriguing aspect of the buildings design is that it is almost completely made of stone which is perfectly carved to interlock together to create a very architecturally inspiring building from the 11th century.
