Logo designs

When creating my logo i decided to create a few initial drawings to start off my creative flow and inspire my digital design that i was going to create. Below are five sketches that i did as ideas for 

my logo.

Out of the above designs the second design is my least favourite as it does not represent that style that i would like to portray myself in as its blunt curves and hand writing style design is not something that appears in my work or the design work that is inspirational to me. My preferred design that i am going to take forward and develop is the final drawing, i think this is the most effective response as it involves my two initials and also creates a very interesting geometric shape. 

Below are a few of my digital logo developments. the font used in most of the designs use Helvetica Neue Bold typeface.  

This is an experimentation of my preferred drawing, i used purple as it is my favourite colour and includes my likes in the design but the colour detracts from the design and would look more professional in black and white as it would then be transferable onto many other different colours 

and things.

This is a design using just the letter K in helvetica Neue bold, and Using a diagonal line in turquoise  going through the k creating the appearance of a letter A at the bottom of the k. After creating this design and receiving feedback on it i was told that the A wasn't very clear without it being explained. This made me reconsider this design.

An experiment to see if i could make the A more visible, unfortunately the design them became

too complicated.

This design simply uses the letter A in Helvetica Neue bold with the cross bar of the A extended into the shape of a triangle. the triangle is a large influence in my design work as many of my designs are based around this shape. Although this design represents me and my designs well it is lacking in information as it just includes the initial of my last name not the first and last which would be more relatable and heavenly linked to me. 

An experiment using just shapes to create the letters K and A. This design it very successful as it shows of my heavy influence of geometric shapes and design but to clearly show the layers of shapes would be difficult if i was to use traditional methods to print it on to some products. 

This is an a development of my initial digital design that i though was very successful because of its angles and including my initial. To develop it into a design that represented my and my design i decided to change the colour to purely black and create geometric segments in the letters to transform Helvetric Neue Bold into a personalised font that was in the style of drawing that i create and that will be shown on my instagram. Also decided to add text alongside it so if the logo was placed anywhere other than my instagram it would be clear what kind of work i create and who created it.
