Below are possible colour schemes for my printing of business cards, front of sketch books
and flyers.
Out of all the about colour schemes i refer the first as the black and white is a nice contrast which also appraise a lot in my geometric work and the dark turquoise is a nice sophisticated colour that adds a light colour to my two tone colour scheme, all three colour work well in any combination.
After deciding on this colour schemes and to screen print i reconsidered the use of colour and thought about the metallic prints that are available to print with, so i put together another colour scheme to see how they would work together.
Above are the colours that i decided on but not all the colours would be used to print with some would be the colour of the paper, and would be printed in this order -
book - green book cover(#3b6765) and also a white book cover, design printed using copper
flyer - white card with design printed in copper
business cards - white card and silver card, with design printed on in copper.
I choose to print my design in copper as it highlights the design, creates a nice finish and also it is the most delicate of materials out of copper, silver and gold, which are the choice of metallic prints available, and this represents the delicate nature of my designs. The green/turquoise, white and silver papers are used as they have a range of textures and finishes which reflect my design as how versatile my designs are.
